League Coach's Report - Rd 21 v East Fremantle

Another disappointing loss on the weekend has now put us in  a position the club hasn’t been in for quite a while. We will have to win both games and hope for mistakes from others which is not the ideal situation to be in. But right now we are just going to focus on East Perth which will be the biggest game for the year given both clubs are in the same boat and we are rival tenants at Medibank. We look like gaining the services of Adam Cockie for the game but he hasn’t played for 9 weeks and we can’t expect a lot from him as was the same for Des Headland who is getting better each week.

It will be a tough game of football this weekend as the players know we have put ourselves in this position and they want to finish the season strongly. The effort was certainly there last week but we have lost confidence infront of goals and if you can’t score you can’t win so we will fight harder for a win this weekend as it’s our last game at Medibank and we would love to give the loyal supporters something to smile about. Two great players will achieve milestones this week in Keevo (150) and broady (100).  Congratulations and all the best to both of them - see you there on Saturday.
