After a long hot summer, Sunday 21st February served as an opportunity for many of young footballers to dust of their boots and gear up for season 2010.

With thousands of junior footballers congregating at their local junior football club, season 2010 promises to be another big year in football with in excess of 3500 children participating in the Subiaco District Junior Football Competition.

With an increase of 35% in the last 3 years an opportunity has been afforded to over 100,000 children, both male and female to take part in Australian Rules Football and follow in the footsteps of their idols.

The Subiaco District junior football season will commence on Sunday 3rd May, concluding in September. If you didnt have the opportunity to register on the 21st February, but would like to join a local junior football team, you can find further details at www.playaflwa.com.au or you can call Luke or Ben on 9208 9999

Some of the places we visited were – an orphanage with children affected by Agent Orange, several blind schools, regional and poor communities and a number of convents which are home to the Sisters whom are members of the order that established our school.
