Lions Powering for Subiaco District Junior Clubs
The Lions have continued to be the powerhouse team in the WAFL once again, but the club wants to extend its dominance even further into the local community. Thanks to Simply Energy the Subiaco Football Club have an opportunity to win $10,000 and if successful they have promised to donate a portion of that cash prize to the Subiaco District, which local clubs will be able to access via a grant application.
CEO Peter Capes commented, “We value our junior clubs and the great work they do in developing our future talent and the ongoing support they give our club. This is just one of many ways we can give back to grass roots footy and continue to support the community and the people involved.”
The club needs to receive the most votes submitted via the web address below. SFC Football Manager and Carine JFC coach Michael Farmer had this to say, “We need as many of our people in the community and District to vote. A vote for Subi is a vote for your junior club.”
The competition closes on 21st September with the winning club announced at the WAFL Grand Final on Sunday September 22nd. Be sure to support the Lions and your club by voting now!!!
