2019 Fairest and Best Count

Tuesday, September 10, 2019 - 4:49 PM

Proud family members, coaches, managers and club presidents gathered in the Graham Moss function room at Revo Fitness Stadium last night (9/9), to watch the Fairest and Best vote count for 2019.

Guests were welcomed by Club Development and Competitions Team Leader Matt Neves, before the final 5 rounds of umpires' votes were counted, to reveal both runners-up and Fairest and Best for each male and female Metro North competition.

In our premier girls Y9-11 Maroon Competition, Tamashya Blurton from the North Beach JFC was named Fairest and Best for 2019 with Mixie Darvall from the Claremont JFC as runner-up.

In the Maroon 18s Competition, Sol Mcilduff from Sorrento Duncraig JFC was named Fairest and Best, with Whitford JFC duo Cooper Schulz and Ryan Gallen sharing the runner-up trophies.

Congratulations to all of our winners and place getters last night and a special mention to all of those who polled votes during the course of the evening. It is no mean feat to be named amongst the best three players on the ground at any point during the course of the season.
