Metro North, Club Coach Educations Sessions 2020

As with 2019 there will be a big focus on Coaching in 2020, with the aim to give our kids the best possible experience at Junior Football, with positive Role Models and positive Game Day/Training Environments. The series of Education workshops that developed in late 2018 early 2019 have been revamped for 2020 and are ready to be presented at your clubs.

All sessions will go for approx 1.5 hours and involve a combination of theory and practical. - All Weekday Sessions will start at 6:30 and weekend Sessions starting at 10:30.

I will also remind clubs that NO ALCOHOL is to be supplied during the sessions. Any club supplying alcohol during the session will have their session canceled, with coaches not being awarded any points and will have to attend another session.

2nd and 5th March Preseason

7th March Managing Parents/Players

16th and 19th March Tackling

21st March Coaching Females

30th March and 2nd April Effective Training Sessions

4th April New Coaches

6th and 9th April Kicking

27th and 29th April Craft Work

11th 13th May Game Day Coaching

25th and 27th May Effective Training Sessions

8th and 10th June Positional Craft (Foundation Youth Coaches Only)

22nd and 25th June Tackling

20th and 23rd July Effective Training Sessions
